On December 12, 2008, Everett Charles Technologies Inc., Pomona, USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dover Corp. , New York, USA, announced that the semiconductor test group (STG) of Everett Charles Technolgies will merge with Multitest elektronische Systeme, Rosenheim, Germany, under the leadership of Karl Funke, CEO and President of Multitest. This merger includes Harbor Electronics Inc., Santa Clara, USA, a manufacturer of test boards.
Effective July 1, 2009, the newly merged operation started to market its IC test socket, board, and handler products under the name "Multitest". Multitest continues to be a wholly owned subsidiary of ECT and its regional operations continue to be carried out either within Multitest's or ECT's regional legal entities.
The new "Multitest" has three product groups - Test Sockets headed by Berthold Butzmann, Test Boards headed by Tim McNulty, and Test Handlers headed by Bernhard Lorenz; the combined world-wide sales and support team is headed by me.
The new "Multitest" offers a unique product and service portfolio helping our customers to better test yields and lower test cost and to better meet forthcoming challenges in the IC test market.
Your immediate contacts for the products and services you have sourced so far from either Multitest or ECT or Harbor remain largely the same within the new Multitest operation. Some office addresses have changed as some offices have been consolidated, email addresses change to "@multitest.com" but previous addresses remain active for an interim period.
Though mergers are accompanied by change, we strive hard to avoid any impact our business interaction with you. For further questions, please contact your local representative.
We are looking forward to a continued successful business relationship with you.
